Paper - The primary mission of JLI is the finest quality reproductions of
artwork and photography. Virtually all of our paper printing is on the
finest watercolor papers available (some promotional and technical work
is printed on high quality technical paper). The following price list includes
the most common papers we use.
Somerset Velvet for Epson - 505 gsm sheets - The finest bright white 100% cotton watercolor paper we carry, this plush mould made paper is produced in England and can be hand torn for a beautiful, feathered edge. We use this mostly for reproducing artwork.
Ultrasmooth Fine Art - A 250 gsm hot press 100% cotton roll paper. With a hard, very smooth surface, this paper is ideal for photography. At JLI this is our main paper for open edition prints. This museum quality paper is also considered the most archival in the print industry.
Museo Textured Rag - A 325 gsm 100% cotton watercolor paper available in rolls and sheets. With a very hard textured surface, Textured Rag delivers very precise prints.
Moab Entrada Rag Bright - A brighter alternative to UltraSmooth, this 300 gsm 100% cotton paper offers an extreamly bright white surface for an image with real pop.
For specific jobs we will sometimes order one of the other fine papers available for the highest quality ink jet printing.
