Lenny Foster's photography career began in 1993 when, after a trip to the southwest, he hung up his coat and tie and moved to Taos, New Mexico. In travels throughout New Mexico, as well as West Africa, Tahiti, the Bahamas and Mexico, he saw first-hand how beauty and spirit is reflected in the faces and hands of people in every culture. "Praying Hands" is a collection of images intimately expressing a connection to spirit by prayerful postures. "The Still Life," a collection of sunflowers, was created during a difficult time in Foster's life. "In these amazing flowers," he says, "I found peace, contentment and hope. In planting, caring for and photographing the sunflowers, I was reminded that the most abundant, most enduring and most powerful force that exists is Love. "My mission at this point in my life is to show my gratitude for this gift by honoring and documenting beauty and what I perceive to be the presence of Spirit in all that I encounter."
