Charlotte Northcutt

Artist’s Statement: Amidst the dramatic vastness of our American Southwest is my home, and illustrating the Southwest has been and remains my passion. Each painting is an experience that I am blessed with, and sharing of that experience with others brings an unbelievable feeling of joy and connection. My heart is in the Southwest, and the heart of the Southwest is in my work.

Biography: Charlotte Northcutt recieved a Fine Art degree from McMurry University in Texas, then continued her training with the University of Oklahoma’s New Mexico painting program. She completed her formal training under the tutage of “an Old Master” in North Carolina.

Professional recognition of her painting began in 1979. Ms. Northcutt has been honored with many awards in juried shows, leading ggallery exhibitions and gallery representation throughout the Southwest.
