Pamela Parsons
Pamela Parsons works in various media including painting, printing, sculpture, installations, photography, and video. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and has studied in Europe, Asia, New York, and New Mexico. Her work is included in private, corporate, and museum collections and works have been purchased and commissioned for Art in Public Places, Office of Cultural Affairs, State of New Mexico.
Parsons’ concerns are multi-faceted and experimental. Her imagery included luminous color juxtapositioned in linear elements, the interplay of gestural line within collage elements and sculptural narrative themes.
During 1993-2010, Parsons traveled globally while photographing “moments/momentos/time” in London, Amsterdam, Istanbul, and Bangkok before entering remote areas of Malaysia and Indonesia and documenting her experiences there.
Parsons’ work has been seen and honored from coast-to-coast in exhibitions too numerous to list.
