Jack Leustig began working professionally with Jill Sanger in 2001 after seeing several of her first Rainbow Children images. Jill, a lifelong artist and art teacher, had become possessed by her stylized visions of children and painted prolifically over the next 6 years.

During that time, as her work gained exposure in both the Taos, NM area and New York City where Jill is from, galleries began to court her. Faced with the difficult decision of how to proceed with the sales of her original art, Jill met with Jack and a deal was struck that set a new course for JLI - original art sales.

Each piece is painted using only the finest materials on Arches watercolor paper. Often mixing fine mica into her paints, many of the originals shimmer from within the vivid colors.

Jill Sanger’s visionary work of multi-cultural innocence and hope has a universal appeal that transcends age.
